Maxwell Paper Racing is entered to race Barber Motorsports Park with Grand-Am in the Continental GS series.

After an absence of over a year, Maxwell Paper Racing is entered to race in the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Series with their updated Porsche. After speaking with team owner Rod Smith, he explained, "We feel Grand-Am is working hard to help the Porsche be competitive again in the series. I know there will be some development, but I feel with the updates given to the Porsche, we should be able to compete with the V8 cars. We will see how competitive we are in April ar Barber."
Takinhg a realistic approach, the team knows the car will still need some development, but they are excited to tackle the task. It will be nice seeing the Porsche competitive, the car has seen some decent results, but you would have to go back to 2007 to see the car as a favorite. Hopefully, the with the updates given, the Porsche will be strong again and have be able to battle with the Mustang and BMW for wins. Only time will tell.
At this point, Maxwell Paper Racing is excited to join back with the Grand-Am series and put forth a strong effort. Wish us luck!

April 7-9 Maxwell Paper Racing will compete in the CTSCCS with their Porsche in GS.
